Well.....I love the word "wellness"...

I always liked the word "Wellness" since I moved to the States. I like also the word "Wellbeing". To me, they both sound like a "weave", the way a weave moves forwards and then backwards , as it got all the strength it needed on its way to the land , and then it can finally relax when it goes back to its original environment.

Oddly enough , I like the Italian word for Wellness as well.

It is "Benessere" and it means "stare bene" , being well. But it has also this strong and sweet word in it which is "Bene" and "Bene" means love , love for you, for your significant others, for your family, for your friends, for your pets.

When you reach your "wellbeing " dimension or feeling, whatever you want to call it, to me it means that you have finally learnt how to love yourself , with all your flaws and imperfections, you have found your own balance , you are taking a good care of yourself, you respect the people in your life, you are grateful, you appreciate the small and big things you have been gifted with, you find some of your time to help people in need, you like what you do and you do not need people 's approval to feel good about yourself.

You are and feel also healthy and your body and your mind work together in harmony.

Wellbeing is not that easy to achieve though.

You need to feed yourself with the right food and you need to heal yourself properly when in physical and emotional pain.

I am a strong believer that wellness (and being healthy) comes from within.

I support more the "holistic " approach than the "chemical" one.

For example, I have been researching a lot for skincare brands and skincare lines that offer "clean" products and they do not use any harmful ingredients. I am very happy to share that these kind of brands are becoming more popular in the cosmetic industry. You would be surprise.

By the way, I recently discovered Tula Skincare and I would give it a try if I were you.

Still the smart thing to do is to educate yourself as much as possible and then you should try and experience different ways on the path to your wellbeing, keeping in mind that Wellbeing does not mean the same thing to everybody.

Last Saturday I decided to join two experts in essential oils to learn more about these precious fountains of good health.

I spent one of my best week end ever.

First of all, the weather was amazing, the perfect weather!

We met at the park.

The two ladies who hold the meeting were extremely organized.

They brought all their educational material, a lot of samples to give to the attendees but also drinks and food to create the right vibe.

And it was a success indeed.

I felt like I was part of a bigger thing!

You actually feel you are part of a group that shares your own values and believes.

The meeting was very educational and all those women inspired me to go big and to chase my dreams. They simply inspire you to become a better version of yourself and to take care of yourself in a loving way.

They gave us free samples to try , to breath them in from our palms, to rub them on our neck ..I just loved all the smells! The essential oils' smell makes you feel better right away.

If you want to know more about essential oils , please feel free to send me an email to alessandrabeatricega@gmail.com and I will be more than happy to share the contacts of these two experts with all of you.

I would suggest you to go to one of their meetings even if you are not into essential oils or holistic approaches in general. What is the worst that can happen? I am telling you , worst case scenario, you go back home with a little bag of "goodies", you make some new friends, and you have one more subject to add to your conversation with your Tinder date that it is not just the overrated "so......how are you holding up during this crazy pandemic?" .

I will talk about my own experience with on line dating on a different post , but for now ...

Come on people, let's be more creative than that!

And while I am smelling from my lavender essential oil potion, I wish all of you a great week.

Do not forget to stop by to say hi in my blog, you know..just virtually!! And at a social distance of course
